Matan Companies was founded on the principle of providing a comprehensive, full-service approach to all of the disciplines involved in the ownership of real estate.

Our portfolio consists of 28 projects, containing 41 individual buildings, in excess of 3.5 million square feet and 252 tenants. Our corporate offices are located in Frederick, Maryland. Our portfolio is located in select target markets in the Mid-Atlantic region. While this region's current average vacancy rates range from 9% to 12%, our select portfolio boasts an overall vacancy rate of only 5.2%.

In order to maximize our real estate assets, we apply a full-service approach to real estate investment. This approach includes acquisition, financing, development, leasing, property management, asset management, and full reporting functions, as well as coordination of audit and tax preparation. We are able to provide these services because our staff of more than 50 people has been built with all the disciplines necessary, including in-house lenders, construction managers, financial advisors, CPAs, legal counsel, engineers, and maintenance personnel. Our commitment to on-site management has been directly responsible for our high level of tenant satisfaction and retention.
