Matan Companies was founded on the principle of providing a comprehensive, full service approach to all the disciplines involved in the ownership of real estate.

Our portfolio consists of twenty-eight (28) projects containing forty-one (41) individual buildings in excess of three and one-half million square feet and two hundred fifty-two (252) tenants. Our corporate offices are located in Frederick, Maryland. Our portfolio is located in select target markets that range from Raleigh, NC to the south and Connecticut to the north with our major focus being the Washington-Baltimore region. While this region's current average vacancy rates range from 9% to 12%, our select portfolio boasts an overall vacancy rate of only 5.2%.

In order to maximize our real estate assets, we apply a full service approach to real estate investment. This approach includes acquisition, financing, development, leasing, property management, asset management, and full reporting functions, as well as, coordination of audit and tax preparation. We are able to provide these services because our staff of more than 50 people has been built with all the disciplines necessary, including in-house lenders, construction managers, financial advisors, CPAs, legal counsel, engineers, and maintenance personnel. We currently have three offices and expect to add another field office in 2007. Our commitment to on-site management has been directly responsible for our high level of tenant satisfaction and retention.
