Matan Companies Holds 10th Annual Food Drive; Donates 1,820 Lbs to the Frederick Community Action Agency

Matan Companies recently hosted a food and goods drive to benefit the Frederick Community Action Agency, a local community-based charity that provides food, shelter, and assistance to those in need. The drive, which was held from February 5th to February 16th at Matan’s full service commercial real estate properties, yielded a substantial donation wherein 1,820 pounds of dry and canned goods, gloves, hats, socks, baby food and diapers, laundry detergent and personal hygiene products were collected for families and individuals currently in crisis.

This is the 10th year that Matan has organized their "Food from the Heart" campaign, and in total they have collected and donated over 9,500 pounds.

"Every year our tenants continue their generosity by filling the donation bins," said Priscilla Ford, Portfolio Manager for the Matan Companies. "This was a record setting year and proof that we can do amazing things when we all come together with our tenants for a worthwhile cause".
